When you know better, you do better.
Building Consumer Confidence
Could this be you, your mom or grandma? If you searched could you find a child photo of yourself riding in a car without a safety seat? The answer for most of American’s age 30+ is yes! It wasn’t until 1985 that the US jumped on board with mandating proper child safety seats. The first car seat was just a bag with a drawstring that attached to the car seat. Similar to the way a lot of us haul our groceries around these days. A mom invention maybe?
Car seats took a long time to become mandated because consumers were not educated as to the dangers kids face in a car crash. They didn’t know they needed a better way to ride. This missing piece makes all the difference when you are launching a new business too! Educate your consumers repeatedly on the safety, happiness and ease you can provide to them. Tell them over and over about the problem you have solved.
Today, little Mary would be, by law, in the back seat facing the rear window, with more cushioning and a dual safety belt snug against her body. A proven way to ride that saves kids lives.
What problem can you show consumers to get them to find value and confidence in your solution?
